Mom Has Hobbies!

I Use to HATE the word HOBBY... For years I thought hobbies were mere distractions pursued for entertainment in spare time. The problem was, I couldn't think of many people who had REAL spare time. In a world built on the accessibility of tech and constant connectivity, most people that I know seem busier than ever. Let me introduce myself! My name is Sarah Beazley, and I actually love hobbies! So much so, that I think everyone should have them. I'm a 2nd gen homeschooling creative mom still finding her way around life after moving from the PNW to the beautiful state of Kentucky. As a life-long creative, I have come to learn the value of having hobbies and interests as a human and a mother despite being very busy. As a homeschooling mom who is near her kids most of the time, I am well aware of how hard it can be to balance keeping everyone fed, loved, and alive, while sneaking in moments of creativity. However, the longer I'm alive the more I knew the value of skills learned through enjoyment and play. After many years of trial and error I am finally learning how to integrate who I am as a creative with who I am as a wife and mother. Here I will be sharing my life lessons, tips, hacks, and commentary on how to keep a home and bring up children WHILE still being creative. The sharing willing not be perfect, but share I must. My goal is for you to see the importance of living a creative life no matter who you are so that you too can have hobbies and skills to add joy to your life. Cheers and happy reading!
